It was an interesting night...a small group gathered at the Inglewood Pub on Beaufort street in anticipation of a great clash between the Hawks and the Pies.
Everything seemed to be going nicely until the lights went out.Rather than hang around for the power to come back on, we moved on to the Civic (last years venue)..It was a rocky start for the Pies,...and it was showing on the faces of Friar Bryers and the Queenslander..
The game was an absolute cracker..the final minutes saw the lead change a number of times..
...until finally "Good Old Collingwood" scrambled across the line to the delight of the mad Pies fans..
...the shots came out along with the dust and cobwebs from the Pies fans wallets.....
....there was a lot of love in the room and we all saw a fantastic game.
